Our 44th voyage sets sail from Tokyo on Christmas Day 2003, and returns to Japan on March 31, 2004 after circumnavigating the globe and rounding the Cape of Good Hope in Africa and Cape Horn in South America. We bring you here some of the highlights of life at sea and on land segment by segment.

For every voyage, Peace Boat invites guest educators (known as "mizu-saki-annai" or "navigators" in Japanese) to give educational lectures and interactive workshops in order to share their knowledge and experiences with the participants onboard. The vast majority of the participants are Japanese who have little experience communicating in languages other than their native tongue.
