Campaign against the Enola Gay exhibition at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum
Appalled after hearing the news that the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum would again be displaying the Enola Gay - the B-29 aircraft used to drop the atom bomb on Hiroshima - Peace Boat participants got together and formed an email campaign to protest against the exhibition.

Focusing solely on the technical achievements of the mission, the exhibit is a rationalization of nuclear weapons and makes no mention of the thousands killed, or of the many victims who continue to suffer from the after effects today.

Supporting the two main victims' associations in Hiroshima who have already contacted Jack Daily, the Director of the museum, Peace Boat participants published his email address and an article detailing the display, appealing for people to voice their protests over the internet.

If you would like to join the campaign against the Enola Gay Exhibition at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, please email your message to Jack Daily at info@si.edu
