| The bride and groom in a wedding at sea |
Hundreds of Peace Boat participants turned out to view the "high seas" wedding of Rie Ozawa and Shinya Miyazaki. Accompanied by gospel singing, and a two year old pageboy and bridesmaid dressed as angels, the Bride was led out arm in arm with the Captain of the ship - TSS The Topaz. Many participants had volunteered to ensure the unforgettable day would run smoothly by making the decorations and assisting with the planning of the ceremony. Once the vows had been exchanged, the newlyweds, along with the several hundred guests, went on to a specially prepared reception to celebrate their first day of married life. |
