Tania Campbell, Web Reporter on the 59th Global Voyage for Peace
Tania Campbell, a global citizen with a New Zealand passport, has lived in The Netherlands, Australia, Japan and now resides in Korea where she works in the media and publishing industries. She first joined Peace Boat as a GET teacher on the 51st Voyage where her eyes where opened up to the incredible diversity, complexity and inequality facing societies all over the world. As a trained anthropologist, she has been perplexed and concerned about the state of the world and how although we have the means to alleviate poverty, famine, disease and war, we don't.

As a peaceful and idealistic person who firmly believes that the pen is mightier than the sword, she has tried to address these issues and other problems faced by humanity through writing. Her philosophy is that through words, we can raise awareness, create dialogue and call people to action. The media, which is such a powerful force in our lives is an excellent medium in which to use words and pictures to deliver a message of peace, and to give a voice to peace activists around the world so that we can create positive change and address the injustices that plague this world.
