Peace Boat Tsunami Victims Tribute Event

On Australia’s National Day of Mourning for Tsunami Victims, marking the arrival of Peace Boat in Sydney, 15th Port of Call of the 47th Peace Boat Voyage around the world, with 900 Japanese participants bringing a message of peace to over 16 nations, we invite the people of Sydney to come along and put Hand Prints on a Peace Banner and make Origami Cranes to present to the Lord Mayor of the City of Sydney

Organized with Children Out of Detention (Chilout), Surfrider Foundation (Aus), Oceanwatch, The Shed Mt.Druitt, Edmund Rice Centre, Sutherland Shire Bushcare, International Institute for Peace through Travel

Donations collected will be contributed to the Peace Boat Water Purification Project for Safe Drinking Water in Galle, Sri Lanka
