Peace Boat is pleased to announce a new scholarship programme being offered to students of Japanese language. The Global Friendship Award provides recipients with a free, intensive, total-immersion Japanese language study programme on board Peace Boat's 70th Global Voyage, as well as covering 10% of the entire voyage and Japanese course fee. Peace Boat is now inviting Japanese language students around the world to apply.

Through the Global Friendship Award, recipients will immerse themselves in Japanese language, as well as participate fully in Peace Boat’s unique programming on board and in ports.

• 10% subsidy of Peace Boat Global Voyage visiting 19 ports in 17 countries.
• Free Intensive Japanese study programme on board Peace Boat.
• Open to students currently enrolled in a university (or equivalent) course.
