The Tirana Call for Peace Education |

| Hague Appeal for Peace |
Peace Boat Global University staff member Jasna Bastic attended the October 2004 meeting of ministers of education, intergovernmental, and civil society organizations convened by the Hague Appeal for Peace, that has produced "The Tirana Call for Peace Education."
Noting that peace education prevents violence and builds a culture of peace, the Tirana Call urges governments to integrate peace education into their countries' formal education systems and asks civil society organizations to address peace education through non-formal, informal, youth and community-based education.
