It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic death of our long-term friend and former staff member Paul Mason. Paul was killed in a motorcycle accident in Australia on May 18, 2005.

Our hearts go out to Paul's immediate family, including his son, Noah; Noah's mother, Sarah-Jane; his mother, Audrey; and his partner, Laura.

Paul first joined Peace Boat in 1998, and worked passionately on issues including Palestine, anti-nuclear activities, HIV/AIDS, Aboriginal rights and the global environment. He contributed so much to Peace Boat, and will be always in our thoughts. We loved him very much.
