Peace Boat offers a great opportunity for those people with language skills to further develop their capacity while contributing to the strengthening of global civil society. Each voyage, Peace Boat recruits volunteer interpreters and language teachers to support its programmes onboard.

• INTERPRETER - Peace Boat is currently recruiting English/Japanese and Spanish/Japanese interpreters for the 81st voyage departing Japan on November 22nd, 2013 and returning March 6th, 2014.

• ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS - GET, Peace Boat's language training programme, is now accepting applications for English language instructors for the 81st voyage departing Japan on November 22nd, 2013 and returning March 6th, 2014. The Volunteer Language Teacher application deadline is 17:00 (Japan Standard Time) on Friday, August 2nd, 2013. Interviews are scheduled to be held in Tokyo on August 24th and 25th (Satruday and Sunday), 2013. Skype interviews for overseas applicants will be held around the time of the domestic interviews. • PROFESOR(A) - El programa de GET está aceptando solicitudes para el puesto de profesor(a) voluntario(a) de español en nuestro Viaje Global 81 que saldrá el 22 de Noviembre de 2013 y regresará el 6 de marzo de 2013. La fecha límite para recibir las solicitudes es el viernes, 2 de agosto de 2013, a las 17:00 (Hora de Japón). We welcome the application of individuals interested in supporting our activities while gaining hands on NGO experience in the field of peace, sustainability, international cultural exchange, and other areas.
